Persistant storage of the encoded data

Is there any way that I can store the data encoded by encoded data of in a
data base. As of now the wanproxy is storing the encoded stream of data in
memory. I want to store the data in persistant database so that if the
system restarts I read it from database and store it in memory instead of
going through the whole process of caching when the data is sent.
